A 35 Kilómetros de la ciudad nos internamos en el Cañón del Atuel y en el paraje denominado Valle Grande. Para ello utilizamos la ruta provincial 173, íntegramente pavimentada. Nos recibe una frondosa vegetación junto al rumor del Río Atuel que corre en su lecho de piedras y en cuyo conjunto ofrece generosamente la posibilidad de disfrutar unas especiales vacaciones en convivencia con la naturaleza.

El Paredón de la presa Valle Grande, conforma un inmenso espejo de agua verde esmeralda que es una tentación para la práctica de la natación, buceo, esquí, remo, motonáutica, paseo en catamarán, windsurf, pesca deportiva, safaris fotográficos, etc.

A la vera del Río Atuel, que encierra murmullos de años de historia geológica, se encuentran todos los servicios que el Turista necesita, desde Camping, Cabañas, Hotel, Restaurantes, Proveedurías, complementados por una acorde forestación. About Valle Grande, San Rafael.

Only 35 Km from the city we enter "El Cañón del Atuel" and the place called "Valle Grande". We can use the 173 route, which is completely paved. We are received by leafy vegetation by the edge of the River Atuel wich has a bed covered by stones an all this offers the possibility of enjoying special vacations living with nature.


The wall of the dam Valle Grande, forms a big mirror of green emerald water, and it’s a great temptation to practice: swimming, diving, water ski, moto ski, windsurf, sport fishing, sailing for pleasure and taking photographs.


By the edge of River Atuel, which has lots of whispers about the geological history, we find all the services that a tourist needs, as camping, cottages, hotels, restaurants, stores, all surrounded by the harmony of trees and plants. We also find the services of "Adventure tourism" that is developed in the place, like rafting, kayak, riding, rappel, climbing, trekking and 4x4 activities.
